These pictures were taken last week courtesy of Grandma Mary Jo. I think these guys are the cutest monkeys EVER.

Pumpkin cheese.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boys.

La-La Labor Day

We decided to pack a picnic lunch and drove up to Golden Gate State Park. Let me just say that I get motion sick and HATE driving up winding canyon roads. Apparently Jack does too. Poor little guy turned green and threw up. Once on the way up and once on the way down. Still..we had a great time. Tristan loved EATING in the mountains. Fun was had by all but Big Mama (that's my official pregnant nickname for myself) had to have a nap when we got home.

Hats are great. You don't have to comb your hair. Wait....I don't comb my hair ANYWAY....

Little trooper.

Jumpin Jack Flash in the grass.

Wild and Free.

And bears...oh my....

Castlewood Canyon State Park

We took the boys on their first REAL hike on Saturday. Turns out...they loved it. Jack does NOT want any help of any kind. Everytime he falls down he's says, "okay"...meaning...I'm okay. He's so cute. Tristan loves "the mountains." Love spending time with my boys.

What little hiking studs.

The hills are alive with the sound of Tristan.

My three favorite guys. Ahhh.

T-bone turns 4.

My baby is four. I can't believe it. It seems like only yesterday I could hold him like a football. Now he tells me to be quiet because he can't hear his show. Some things I love about Tristan;
--his cheeseball faces he pulls at the camera
--how he'll say, "I want to kiss the baby" and then kiss my tummy.
--sometimes he'll be sad and say, " I need a hug."
--how cute he is at soccer even though he has no clue what's going on.
--he calls breasts "pumps" (goes back to when he was younger and was trying to say "bumps") and now he'll say, "Mommy, the baby in your tummy is making your pumps get big". Thanks Tristan...I hadn't noticed.
--he loves life and doesn't want to miss a moment....which makes it hard for him to go to bed ...sigh

Here are a few pics of his birthday. We love you T-man.

Jack got a present too.

Blowing out candles.

Classic Tristan cheesy face.

Third time's a charm.

It seems like the only cool thing about pregnancy is finding out the sex of the baby. That being said, we are proud to announce that we are having a little girl. I'm so excited for Tristan and Jack to have a little sister and I'm so excited to have a little friend. I was starting to feel outnumbered. I've promised Will that I wouldn't go insane with online shopping. I've only ordered one thing so far. (But then it's only been 3 days....Ha) Hopefully the next 19 weeks will go by quickly...yeah right.

The Gardens

We have been in Denver for a couple of weeks now and it has been great. My sister and her family came out for a week and we went to a Rockies game and the 16th street mall and the Botanical Gardens. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately we only remembered our camera for the Gardens.....which you can't even see in the picture. Ha. The kids from left to right (Tristan, Jack, Jake, Isabel, India and Olivia)

Here's a pic of Jack and I at a restaurant. Ahhh...what a cute monkey.

Denver or BUST

We are so excited to be starting the next chapter. We are officially heading out on Saturday but since I know the next few days will be crazy I'm posting this now. I've met some super cool people in Tucson that I will dearly miss. But I will not miss the heat. I'm not cut out for it.

Next post from Denver!! Wahoo!!!

All time LOW

Tonight we reached a real low point of Friday nights at the Bireley house. I was exhausted. Will had just gotten off a 30 hours shift at the hospital. We had two Netflix waiting to be watched. Well, Will didn't want to watch Bride Wars. He said it was a super-girly chick flick. And I didn't want to watch 7 lbs. after reading on the label that it was about a guy that was plotting his own suicide after his wife dies....so unable to come to any agreement on what to watch.... we sadly ended up watching America's Funniest Home Videos. We are THAT lame. Please don't judge us.

National Lampoons' Tucson Vacation

These are some pics from February when Lindsay and kids came down for a visit. They were supposed to stay for a week. This is what ACTUALLY happened.

Day one: 12 hours of driving (from Utah to Tucson)
Day two: Trip to the zoo, dinner, swimming.
Day three: all the kids come down with some sort of plague that involved massive vomiting, diarrhea and a midnight trip to the ER for baby India
Day four: 12 hour drive BACK to Utah with sick kids.

Here are some ZOO pics.

..and Tigers and Bears...oh my!!

So Tristan found this hood to one of my jackets and put it on and said, "I'm a lion." It was really cute. I guess you had to be there.....or somewhere NEAR there.

French Fries and Chocolate

I had a greeting card once that said, "I love you so much that I would let you have one...maybe two of my fries." I think that pretty much sums it up. I would definetly let Will have at LEAST five french fries. That's how much I love him. We had a good Valentines day complete with one-pound heart box of See's candies. Tristan is getting taller and discovered that he could reach the top of the bar. And so we discovered our two monkeys enjoy their V-Day spoils. Hilarious. Although I was kind of mad because they somehow ate all my favorites. How did they KNOW??

Run Fat Boy Run

Here are some super-late posts from the Phoenix Half-Marathon. Monica and I ran it in January. These are some non-action shots of us getting ready at 5:30 in the morning. Aren't we gorgeous. It was really fun. The weather was perfect. Monica runs faster than I do so she lost me around mile 9 and finished 5 minutes before me. I secretly think she could've gone faster but was being nice and running with me because I was fairly pathetic. I am proud of us. I'm especially proud of ME!!! Ha! This was the most athletic I've ever been in my entire life. Usually something has to be chasing me for me to run anywhere. Thanks again Monica. You Rock....and run.

Kleenex and Buckets

We have not forgotten about the blog. This past week we have all been an incubus of viral plague. I hope we are all on the mend. ( I also hope that Jack stops barfing in his crib soon.)

Sunbeams

Since Tristan is in Sunbeams now, we thought it was time he dressed like a "big boy." So here he is dressed to the nines for church. Well......dressed to the sevens. Now we only have to wait 45 more days until Jack is in nursery.

All Aboard the Choo-choo train..

If you've ever been to Tucson, Arizona you know that a train track runs right along the 1-10 highway. Since I've lived here I feel like every time I drive ANYWHERE I have to wait 10 minutes at a train crossing. I bring this up only because I didn't know people even used trains anymore. I thought they were a thing of the past. I thought they were only used in movies to run over bad guys or for Lori Singer to show Kevin Bacon how lack of dancing is making her suicidal. Trains. Next thing you'll be telling me that flying cars aren't real. Psshht.

P.S. If I hear Peter Gabriel's "In your Eyes" on the radio one more time I'M going to drive my car onto the train tracks and take a nap. Or anything by John Mayer.

Rascals

I swear if I take my eyes off my boys for two seconds, chaos ensues.... well ..see for yourself. Tristan kept saying it was "SNOW" which made feel guilty for living in Arizona. Maybe he really doesn't know what snow IS....Jack just thought it was funny. We cleaned up as best we could but there is STILL shred all over our room. Sigh.

I was stuck in a haircut I no longer believed in

My hair was so long it was getting nappy. So I said after the half-marathon I would chop it. Which I did. I am a girl of my word. (I'll put up pics of the race as soon as I have them.) Drum roll please......

Resolutions

I am going to copy my brother and make the lofty goal of blogging once a week with my "TOP TEN" of the week. Of course if it's a REALLY boring week it might be the "TOP THREE" or something. Stay tuned.
